Unclaimed premium bonds

Banks, building societies and other savings vehicles, such as NS and I Premium Bonds currently have billions of pounds of unclaimed cash sitting on the books waiting for the plaintiff to come and collect what they rightly. The financial institutions usually find substantial efforts to their customers, but lose contact with them for many reasons. Some people also have National Savings stamps, other type of savings. You can still be redeemed, as they do not expire, but there is no interest, they are simply paid out at face value. To monitor for running a NS & I on an account, you must complete and return the form - it's so easy. You need to know what type of account, and if, when used for another person, NS & I consent in writing before the release of trace information (required if you are looking for in the name of the deceased, they will have a death) certificate.
